Thankful Thursday

This week my list looks like this:

1. Found a new to me minivan!

2. Dinner with friends, especially when I go to her house and she cooks!

3. My BIL got called back to work. That is great news for my sister, BIL and their girls.

4. Stockpiled food, No major grocery shopping for me lately.

5. As always, I will end with chocolate. I have been cutting back and not eating candy, but I will always love me some chocolate.

1. No rain on my trip

2. Getting to have my son for my birthday

4. A CB radio in my car while travelling

I will be back on Friday. I am going to see my son for my birthday tomorrow. I will post my What to Cook Wednesday and Thankful Thursday on Friday. I do not have time to create the blog posts today. Have a happy couple of days until I return!

Thankful Thrusday

Thankful Thursday..... Hmmm, what am I thankful for this week. I am feeling really sarcastic today so I am having a hard time coming up with things that I am truly thankful for. So here is my sarcastic list for today:
1. My mom never listens. I tell her something and the next day she totally has forgotten it. I swear she has dementia.

2. My atty is always so prompt at returning my calls. I have been calling and waiting for over a week now....ugh.

3. My sister is a scatterbrain. She and her husband both actually. I don't know how they keep track of their kids let alone their keys...

4. Work--by golly I just work with the most efficient and knowledgeable folks ever. I really don't know how some of these people don't get lost on the way to work.

5. The stray outdoor female cat is in heat. Let me tell you, I have heard enough growling, hissing, yowling and cat noises for a lifetime. Hurry up and get knocked up. I've had enough. Although that seems to be the attitude that the female cat has. She doesn't want anything to do with those randy little basta***. I can't say as I blame her.

Thankful Thursday

This week I am thankful for a lot. I will still keep to my list of five however.

1. My atty is making progress. We have more filed and are getting closer to a court date.
2. Donuts. I am sitting here eating my way through six donuts. I know I will suffer all day from this, but they are donuts, they are on my desk, therefore, they are MINE!
3. I finally got rid of the camper, they picked it up and it is outta here.
4. I finally had a regular full weekend visit with my son. Those short visits are hard, especially when they happen more than one at a time.
5. My dad is going to help me with getting a new car and paying for the GAL for my son. I totally need the help financially for this. My car is dying painfully and I cannot afford an atty for my son, but he definitely needs one.

1. My cats, they have kept me laughing this week
2. Getting caught up at work
3. Accomplishing a lot of housework
4. Lightning bugs-fun to catch together with my son while on the phone with him

Thankful Thursday

I am not really sure why this did not post, I am totally having scheduled blog post issues. They used to work, but not right now. Oh well, here is my thankful list again.

1. My bday visit with my son.
2. Driving the trip in the daytime and not in the middle of the night.
3. Gas prices not being as high as this time last summer.
4. My cats are always happy to see me when I get home.
5. As always, chocolate. I couldn't live without it.

Thankful Thursday

This week I am thankful for several things. I will keep my post to five however.

1. The last couple of weeks have come to an end. I have started getting things back under control.
2. The motor home is all but sold. The couple that wants to come and buy it will be here Saturday.
3. My son and I were both thankful that I made it for my trip and that we at least had the one day. He even told me that one day was better than nothing.
4. The rain has stopped. It is hotter than hell here with the heat and humidity, but it is not raining, I feel like Seattle has gone back to the west coast where it belongs.
5. As always, chocolate....Gotta have my chocolate. Course that might be why I have not lost too much weight yet...I may have to think on that! ;-)

Thankful Thursday

This week I am thankful for:

1. chocolate-definitely have to include it again this week...
2. my day lilies-they are a beautiful site when I walk up to my house
3. the fact that it is almost Friday, and then the weekend
4. my past weekend with my cousin-it was a fun visit
5. I don't know what else. I am feeling a little overwhelmed this week...

I will tell you about my overwhelming times from last week and this week a little later. Thank goodness for scheduled postings, or I would not have had any postings last week either.....

Thankful Thursday

I am going to be thankful on Thursdays. Well, I will be thankful everyday, I will just post some random bits that I am thankful for from the past week. This week I am thankful for:

1. It has finally stopped raining here today(after raining every day this week).
2. I get to see my son this weekend.
3. That there is such a thing as Diet Pepsi. I don't know how I would ever wake up every day without it.
4. Chocolate
5. Coupons- I love those money saving little bits of paper.
